June No Cavity Club Friend of the Month
This month’s No Cavity Club stuffed animal is Taekwon Teddy! Taekwon Teddy gets his name from his love of Taekwondo and went home this month with Jack, who is working towards his black belt. Taekwon Teddy and Jack currently have their yellow belts and have become best buds, supporting and teaching each other kicks, routines, and proper stances in Taekwondo.
Besides practicing Taekwondo, the two are inseparable and do everything together. They even make brushing their teeth a fun activity by watching Taekwondo videos. Watching videos helps Jack and Taekwon Teddy brush for the full two minutes, reaching every tooth in their mouth. They know the importance of maintaining good dental hygiene to stay strong and healthy for their Taekwondo practices.
Helping Kids Develop Proper Dental Health & Life-Long Skills
We support proper brushing routines and regular dental exams to help kids maintain strong, healthy teeth. As a parent, you never want to see your child in pain of any kind. Tooth sensitivity is fairly common in kids as their teeth grow and change, but certain pain could point to more serious issues. It’s important to identify the cause of the pain to find the right solution.
New teeth, untreated cavities, too much sugar, cracked teeth, and sinus infections can all lead to tooth sensitivity. Although some tooth sensitivity is inevitable as your child grows, there are plenty of steps you can take to help alleviate the pain and protect their teeth.
