This month, our furry friend, Rocko Rex, was sent home with a lucky member of our No Cavity Club! Rocko Rex loves rocking out, reading, and regularly brushing his teeth to maintain his sparkling smile. Every night, Rocko Rex jams out to his favorite rock songs, and once he\u2019s too tired to keep rocking on, he likes to read. At the moment, Rocko Rex\u2019s favorite rock song is “Kids in America,” and his favorite book is “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.” His final step before going to bed is brushing his teeth. Rocko Rex likes to brush his teeth regularly to keep those pearly whites shining bright!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An easy explanation to children is, \u201cCavities are tiny holes that can grow in your teeth if you don’t take good care of them. They happen when sugary foods and drinks mix with bacteria in your mouth, making your teeth sick. It’s important to avoid cavities because they can make your teeth hurt and make it hard to eat your favorite snacks!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
