Helpful Pediatric Dentistry Tips!

March No Cavity Club Friend of the Month

by Dr. Steve Whittemore, D.D.S. | Published March 11, 2024

Snuffles, our furry friend, happily found a new home with a member of our No Cavity Club this month! Snuffles loves brushing his teeth twice a day while grooving to his favorite tunes. Snuffles listens to beats while brushing to make his routine more enjoyable. When Snuffles grows up, he dreams of being a pop star. In his training to be a pop star, he also makes the perfect sidekick in family shows.

If you want to take home this month’s furry friend, you need to join the No Cavity Club at Pediatric Dentistry of Central Iowa. To join our No Cavity Club, it’s easy! At your next dental check-up, you need a cavity-free report. With a cavity-free report, you earn a spot in our monthly drawing to welcome a new stuffed friend into your life!

We’re on a mission to inspire healthy dental habits in our young friends knowing that baby teeth play a crucial role in speech development, smiling, and shaping adult teeth. When a child’s mouth is riddled with cavities and decay, it harbors high bacterial content that can easily spread to the incoming adult teeth around age 6.

This decay from baby teeth can infect root canals and underlying bone, creating an acidic environment that compromises gum health, causes tooth discoloration, and impacts the proper formation of future teeth.

Join us in promoting a cavity-free future to let smiles shine bright!
